School

Everyone keeps asking me when I will be done with school, I know it seems like I've been going to school forever, that's because I have. I just finished Fall semester yesturday. I have my internship next semester and 9 more credits after that. I haven't decided whether I will take all 9 credits in one semester or spread it out. I'm shooting to graduate next winter. Who knows.

Bailey's Christmas Program

Bailey's program was cute and refreshing, they actually incorporated Christ into the message. Zac and I both feel so blessed to live in such a wonderful community where Christ is talked about and recognized. Bailey loves to perform I didn't get any action shots I was to busy wresteling the other monkeys.

Thanksgiving

We had a fun Thanksgiving. We spent the day at my dads then went bowling afterwards, the kids had a lot of fun playing with their cousins.

Live the Life-Update

So I just started week 3 on Monday, things are going well. Is it easy, no, is it worth it I sure hope so! I've lost 4.5lbs, not bad for a first time Dieter. I love the exercise part the diet part is the hard part for me. The food is great don't get me wrong it's just hard to only eat the things your told to eat and not eat whatever whenever. It's been fun and interesting. Zac started the diet with me last week of course he loves it, he's a health nut when it comes to eating. I'm shooting for big numbers this week, wish me luck!

Live the Life

So I'm not a big fan of diets in fact I've never been on a diet in my life. I've always loved to exercise and eat healthy but never liked to be told what and when I can eat. So guess what...I started a diet Monday. The reason I'm blogging about it is because accountability is one of the 7 steps to success and I believe it. I'm committing to you that I'm going to do exactly what the book says for the full 12 weeks!!! The reason I chose this program is because I've seen the real results of it and believe the methods taught by the book. The main changes is to "EAT CLEAN" and eat often (every 2-3 hours) during the day. The exercise program that goes with it is also great, about 30 minutes of weight training and 30 minutes of cardio. I know everyone is freaked out about what they weigh but I'm going to state my starting weight 140.2 my goal weight 125-130. I've been 130 before but not toned, I would love to be lean and toned. I took a before picture so when this is all said and done I will post my results. Wish me luck!!!

BTW if you are interested check out the website www.kristiapproved.com I also have the blog under my contacts.

My cute girls

I'm always asked what is the difference between girls and boys, which would you rather have. Having two of each I would have to say it all depends on the kid and their personality I don't think it has anything to do with gender at least with my four. I do love dressing up my girls and making them look cute.

My friends made the cute dresses and I have matching ties for the boys. Check them out http://www.etsy.com/shop/mellonmonkeys they have lots of cute stuff.

Big News!

No, I'm not pregnant, not even thinking about it. Gordon is potty-trained! YEA! We are so excited! He woke up last week and told me poo-poo so I took him and he went potty! Next morning same thing happened so I decided that this was my opportunity to go with it. He is doing awesome, just a few accidents but he even sleeps in big boy pants at night. Yippee!!

Friday night we had a costume party with some friends from the ward, it was so much fun to see everyone dressed up. We played a truth and lie game and got to know each other a little more. We voted on best costume, Zac got three votes but scroll down and you will see who won (it was well deserved).

Zac and Jeralyn as Jack Sparrow and his girlfriend??

Susan and Bryan as Zorro and a Gypsy

Kalle and Ryan as a WC fighter (is that what their called??) and his ring girl

Hedi and Ron as basketball stars

Corey and Ryan as Bob the Builder and a jail bird

And the winner is...Aunt Jamima

Halloween

This year we didn't get out much, due to the epidemic of Swine-Flu. We tried to make it as fun as possible with just our little family, we carved pumpkins, had Papa Murpheys pumpkin pizza, went trunk-or-treating, and finally to grandmas for homade soup and pumpkin cake. My neighbor was so kind to let us borrow the kids costumes this year, they were so excited they picked them out two months ago.

A Family That Works Together Stays Together

Saturday the kids had a primary activity in the morning they brought a couple friends home with them and we all worked together splitting and hauling wood for the winter. All the kids were such great workers. They worked hard for a good 2 hours until all the wood was moved and stacked. Later we headed to Ririe and got a couple hours of skiing in.
